The Death of False Security: Chaos and the Birth of Hope – Sept 2020

September 19, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - September 23, 2020 @ 12:30 pm

In a world that is increasingly unpredictable, how do we use constellations and unconscious contract work to free our life energy for contribution? What kind of mourning has to be done to allow our full participation in a chaotic world? What is our relationship with chaos, with fluidity and with resilience?

Please note: this event is part of a masterclass series and is currently open for registration only to those who are attending the full series. If you’d like to attend this individual event as a stand-alone, we will open a small number of individual event slots for registration on Dec. 1, 2019.

Participants will:

  • Experience and explore chaos constellations
  • Learn the forms and rituals that invite us into inner stability, no matter what is happening externally
  • Do small group work to find one’s right place in a changing world

Workshop Format

This event is an in-person retreat/intensive that stretches over 5 calendar days, starting with a dinner on day one, an evening session, three days of work from 9am until 9pm, and then a completion morning session on day 5, ending with lunch.

Each day we alternate between short lectures on neuroscience and constellation concepts with mini-constellations to explore and practice the concepts, and then we do large group constellations. If you’re a visual learner you can imagine small islands of didactic learning, surrounded by slightly larger islands of small-group learning, and then interspersed with large, full-group constellations.

The large group constellations are alternately run by Sarah and by student constellators (participants in the masterclass series) with Sarah’s support.

Both being a facilitator and being a seeker happen by lottery, with weight given to number of sessions attended, thus not all participants will have a chance to be a seeker or a facilitator.

For those participants with US passports, you may have the opportunity to participate in a constellations session at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (a women’s  prison south of Portland, Oregon) before the workshop begins when Coffee Creek permits this, at no charge to participants.

This event is part of a year-long Masterclass Series which allows for constellation facilitators to deeply integrate relational neuroscience into constellation facilitation, and to have new learning about how to leverage solid understanding about how brains work and how we heal from trauma into traditional constellation work, even if the relational neuroscience is never explicitly referenced with clients.

How Much Does it Cost?

This event is not available for individual registration; please see the masterclass series page for pricing details.
