Your Resonant Self Application Week

Dates: June 15-22, 2018

Location: Alton L. Collins Retreat Center, near Portland, OR

Do you have a solid sense of the interpersonal neurobiology concepts and resonant language skills that are important for addressing emotional trauma? Would you enjoy spending a week taking those concepts and skills and applying them to real-life situations that are important to you and your cohort? Would you like to take what you have learned and put it into deep practice for sustained change?

Based on the book Your Resonant Self, being published by Norton in September 2017, this retreat will take you through the application of the foundational understandings, skills and steps needed to nurture a practice of self-warmth.

This will be the second of two retreats that will take you through the book. This Application Week works with the direct application of Week One’s material on the aftereffects of trauma, including reactivity, dissociation, attachment, self-hate, depression, addictions and finally, joy. It will be very experiential, with lots of movement and sweetness.

Prerequisites: 1. I am willing to learn, and to support others in their learning and  self-connection.

  1.   I have read the book, Your Resonant Self, in full.
  2.   I have either attended Week 1, or I have completed some other introduction to Interpersonal Neurobiology – please write Sarah with a description of your experience for permission to enroll.
  1. I have completed the on-line Intro to Resonant Language Program (launches August 2017)

Or, I have listened to the recordings of the Intro to Resonant Language program and have completed and submitted the worksheets and journal pages. (launches August 2017)

Or, I am experienced in the use of Nonviolent Communication to support self-warmth in internal processes and to support others who are touching their own emotional experience. Please write to Sarah to describe your experience to have this prerequisite waived.
