The Death of Patriarchy: Living Into the Future - September 2020
The Death of Patriarchy: Living Into the Future – September 2020
September 19, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - September 23, 2020 @ 12:30 pm
How can we live our own integrity in a colonized and patriarchal world? What is the role constellations can play to help us separate ourselves from our toxic and limiting stories? Where does recognition begin, and what happens to us as our consciousness grows? What role does relationality play in the reclamation of a true life?
Please note: this event is part of a masterclass series. If you’d like to attend all 4 masterclasses for a discount of over $900, please visit the link.
- Learn the forms and rituals of constellation work that can be resources for recognition of patriarchal patterns and restoration of self.
- Experience the importance of accompaniment for decolonization
- Move into a radically connected future
This event is an in-person retreat/intensive that stretches over 5 calendar days, starting with dinner on day one, an evening session, three days of work from 9am until 9pm, and then a completion morning session on day 5, ending with lunch.
Each day we alternate between short lectures on neuroscience and constellation concepts with mini-constellations to explore and practice the concepts, and then we do large group constellations. If you’re a visual learner you can imagine small islands of didactic learning, surrounded by slightly larger islands of small-group learning, and then interspersed with large, full-group constellations.
The large group constellations are alternately run by Sarah and by student constellators (participants in the masterclass series) with Sarah’s support.
Both being a facilitator and being a seeker happen by lottery, with weight given to the number of sessions attended, thus not all participants will have a chance to be a seeker or a facilitator.
For those participants with US passports, you may have the opportunity to participate in a constellations session at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (a women’s prison south of Portland, Oregon) before the workshop begins when Coffee Creek permits this, at no charge to participants.
This event is part of a year-long Masterclass Series which allows for constellation facilitators to deeply integrate relational neuroscience into constellation facilitation, and to have new learning about how to leverage solid understanding about how brains work and how we heal from trauma into traditional constellation work, even if the relational neuroscience is never explicitly referenced with clients.
This workshop includes a special hearing assistance system from Listen Technologies with individual headphones for any participant that desires to use them.
