ONLINE: The Death of Patriarchy: Living Into the Future – September 2020

September 19 @ 5:00 pm - September 23 @ 2:00 pm

For this Masterclass, Sarah will be joined by co-facilitator Roxy Manning (you can see Roxy’s full bio below).

How can we live our own integrity in a colonized and patriarchal world? How can we use constellation work to help us see the explicit and implicit imprints of white supremacy on our bodies and on our world? What is the role constellations can play to help us separate ourselves from our toxic and limiting stories? How are we moved and changed by relationships to grow? Where does recognition begin, and what happens to us as our consciousness grows? What role does relationality play in the reclamation of a true life?

Participants will:

  • Learn the forms and rituals of constellation work that can be resources for recognition of patriarchal patterns, the habits and defenses of white supremacy, and restoration of self.
  • Experience the importance of accompaniment for decolonization and for recognizing white supremacy patterns and becoming able to make more creative and humanizing movements.
  • Move into a radically connected future

Workshop Format

This event is an online intensive that stretches over 5 calendar days, starting from 5pm-7pm on day one, three days of work with breaks, and then a completion morning and early afternoon session on day 5.

The schedule will be as follows (All times are in the Pacific Time zone.  To convert to your time, please click here):

September 19: Saturday 5-7pm

September 20- 22: Sun-Tues 9-11am, 12-2pm, 3-5pm

September 23: Wed 9-11am, 12-2pm

Sessions will be taught using the zoom platform. Each day we alternate between short lectures on neuroscience and constellation concepts with mini-constellations to explore and practice the concepts, and then we do large group constellations. If you’re a visual learner you can imagine small islands of didactic learning, surrounded by slightly larger islands of small-group learning, and then interspersed with large, full-group constellations.   Small group work will be done in small groups or dyads via breakout groups on zoom.

The large group constellations are alternately run by Sarah and by student constellators (participants in the masterclass series) with Sarah’s support.

Both being a facilitator and being a seeker happen by lottery, with weight given to the number of sessions attended, thus not all participants will have a chance to be a seeker or a facilitator.

This event is part of a year-long Masterclass Series which allows for constellation facilitators to deeply integrate relational neuroscience into constellation facilitation, and to have new learning about how to leverage solid understanding about how brains work and how we heal from trauma into traditional constellation work, even if the relational neuroscience is never explicitly referenced with clients.

This workshop will be recorded for instructional purposes and to allow the learning to be available for attendees. Recordings will only be shared with those who are registered.
