Exploring Your Relationship with Cannabis through Neuroscience-informed Family Constellations

February 29 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

There are few relationships between plants and humans that are more mysterious and compelling than the cannabis connection – and for very good reason! Human beings have an entire body system devoted to to the body’s own endogenous cannabinoids.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) regulates and balances all of the other physical systems, and we are only now beginning to understand the complexity of how this system works in humans.

Cannabis is now legal in a most states in America, and her active components, including Cannabidiol (CBD), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and over 100 others, are the subject of increasing research and study as more humans encounter the medicinal and recreational potential of this plant.  Simultaneously, many struggle with choicelessness and shame in our engagement with cannabis, or have concerns about long-term usage or over-reliance.

Join Sarah Peyton, neuroscience and constellations synthesist, to discover the neuroscience of cannabis and explore using family constellations to explore our relationship to this magical and healing plant. We will explore how cannabis interacts with our joy/play circuitry, the mystery of why cannabis sometimes meets our longing for spiritual connection and oneness, and how and why cannabinoids can help balance us for sleep, stress and more.

All registrants will receive a free bonus: Sarah’s webinar exploring the neuroscience of cannabis.

This event is suitable for those brand-new and those experienced in family constellations. All are welcome!
This event could be a good fit for you if you’d like to:

  • Learn more about the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and how warmth and play are supported by cannabinoids, including those found in cannabis
  • Look at transgenerational influences on the human-plant relationship
  • Understand and untangle blocks that might be preventing you from having choice and balance in relationship to cannabis
  • Explore the mysteries of the ECS and how we might pave a new way to play and warmth by healing the traumas that block our access to joy and delight.
  • Constellate the mysterious spiritual connection you might be accessing for in your cannabis usage
  • Any other inquiries; constellations are wonderful for exploring mystery 🙂

We will alternate between short lectures on the neuroscience of cannabis and constellation concepts, with mini-constellations to explore and practice the concepts, alternating with large group constellations. This way we’ll have small islands of lectured learning, surrounded by slightly larger islands of small-group learning, and then interspersed with large, full-group constellations. We will have a 1.5 hr break for lunch; feel free to bring a bag lunch and eat in the event space, or find a near-by restaurant.

Here’s a video conversation about the neuroscience of the Endocannabinoid system, and how cannabis helps us access spontaneous delight and accompaniment in a world that often feels devoid of both. We also discuss addiction, the importance of Jakk Panksepp’s research on the PLAY and CARE circuits, and how we can use family constellations to work with the dynamics that might be at play in our relationship with cannabis.

$125 if you register and pay by January 29th; $175 thereafter.

Once you enter your full name and email below, you’ll receive a link to payment details and more information about the event.
