Trauma is what happens to us when we can’t integrate the feelings that arise from our difficult experiences. Trauma makes the soul split apart, with some parts getting lost, and these lost parts of self forever remember that they belong to us and long to be returned.

Constellations and shamanic work can help us to see the lost parts of the soul in the field and return them to us.

In this seminar, Sarah welcomes world-renowned constellations facilitator and shamanic practitioner, Elena Veselago, who will support constellations facilitators to learn how to diagnose trauma, how to search for the lost parts of the soul, and how to return them. We’ll learn how to diagnose trauma, and how to position ourselves as facilitators, to see the territory of what is possible and where we can and can’t go. In the shamanic journeying, we will also ask to be given our helping spirits and our guidance.

**Please note: this is a seminar for learning about options for how to work with trauma through consellations, and not a seminar for those who want personal constellation work. Participants are not guaranteed constellation on this theme. If you are suffering from acute or active trauma, we do not recommend that you participate in this workshop.

Workshop Format

This event is an in-person retreat/intensive facilitated entirely by Elena Veselago that stretches over 6 calendar days, starting with dinner at 6pm on day one. Each day thereafter, the workshop will go from from 9am until 6pm,  On the final day, day 6, there will be a completion morning session, and the workshop will end with sharing lunch together. Evenings will open for participant-led constellations.

Elena is Sarah Peyton’s master teacher, and Sarah is very honored to be able to bring her to the US to teach for us. Sarah will not be facilitating this session, although she will translate for Elena from Russian into English.

Each day we alternate between short lectures on neuroscience and constellation concepts with mini-constellations to explore and practice the concepts, and then Elena will lead large group constellations. If you’re a visual learner you can imagine small islands of didactic learning, surrounded by slightly larger islands of small-group learning, and then interspersed with large, full-group constellations.

Elena will choose seekers herself, and constellations will not be guaranteed for all participants.

For those participants with US passports, you may have the opportunity to participate in a constellations session at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (a women’s prison south of Portland, Oregon) before the workshop begins when Coffee Creek permits this, at no charge to participants.

This event is part of a year-long Masterclass Series which allows for constellation facilitators to deeply integrate relational neuroscience into constellation facilitation, and to have new learning about how to leverage solid understanding about how brains work and how we heal from trauma into traditional constellation work, even if the relational neuroscience is never explicitly referenced with clients.

This workshop includes a special hearing assistance system from Listen Technologies with individual headphones for any participant that desires to use them.
